UNDERSTAND WHAT CHANGED

Stacks & simple tracking

More compounds, more uncertainty

A “stack” combines compounds. Evidence for each ingredient does not prove the combination works or is safe.

Keep useful notes

Record dates, symptoms, sleep, appetite, activity, and medication changes. If tracking weight or waist size, use consistent conditions and look at trends.

BEFORE ANY STACK

Principles that
apply to every stack

01

One goal per phase

Pick one focus at a time: fat loss, muscle, healing, or optimization.

02

Fewer is better

1–2 compounds per protocol, and rarely more than 3. Each addition multiplies uncertainty and makes side effects harder to trace.

03

One GLP-1 at a time

Never combine two GLP-1-based compounds. They act on overlapping receptors.

04

Cycles aren’t evidence-based

On/off schedules seen online (like “8–12 weeks on, 4–6 off”) come from community convention, not controlled trials. Non-approved peptides have no studied duration. Approved GLP-1 medicines were studied as long-term treatments, and weight often returns after stopping.

05

Labs before and during

Baseline bloodwork, then rechecks every 8–12 weeks: IGF-1, fasting glucose and HbA1c, lipids, liver enzymes, CBC/CMP, and CRP.

06

Lifestyle first

Protein, resistance training, sleep, and hydration drive most results. No stack replaces them.

07

Count overlapping ingredients

Blends hide repeats. KLOW already contains BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, and KPV. A CagriSema-style vial already contains semaglutide. Adding a separate vial of any ingredient doubles it, and copper from GHK-Cu and AHK-Cu adds up. Blend math

08

Locked ratios can’t be tuned

A pre-mixed blend fixes the ratio between its ingredients. Changing the amount of one changes all of them. If a plan calls for different amounts of each, a single blend can’t match it.

STACK LIBRARY

Common stacks,
explained honestly

How each popular combination is described, what it contains, typical lengths discussed, and what the evidence actually covers. Doses are not listed.

Single compound • Phase 3

Retatrutide

Aggressive fat loss or obesity — GLP-1 + GIP + glucagon in one molecule.

What is in it

Retatrutide alone (triple agonist).

Why it is combined

Hits appetite, insulin response, and energy expenditure at once, so it is often listed as a stand-alone “stack.”

Length studied

Trials ran 48–104 weeks, and weight is often regained after stopping.

Evidence

Up to 24.2% (Phase 2, 48 weeks) and 28.3% (Phase 3, 80 weeks) average weight loss. Not FDA approved.

Cautions

GI side effects, gallbladder and pancreatitis risk, and the thyroid boxed warning. Only one GLP-1-based compound at a time; protein intake and resistance training help protect muscle.

Single compound • Approved*

Tirzepatide

Metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, steady fat loss.

What is in it

Tirzepatide alone (GLP-1 + GIP dual agonist).

Why it is combined

Two incretin signals improve glucose control and appetite together.

Length studied

Studied as a long-term treatment.

Evidence

Up to 20.9% at 72 weeks (SURMOUNT-1); about 25% total at 88 weeks for people who stayed on it (SURMOUNT-4).

Cautions

GI side effects, gallbladder and pancreatitis risk, and the thyroid boxed warning. Only one GLP-1-based compound at a time; protein intake and resistance training help protect muscle.

Single compound • Approved*

Semaglutide

General fat loss and appetite control; the most established option.

What is in it

Semaglutide alone (GLP-1 agonist).

Why it is combined

Suppresses hunger and slows stomach emptying; the longest safety record of the three.

Length studied

Studied as a long-term treatment.

Evidence

About 15% average weight loss at 68 weeks (STEP 1) and 15.2% at 104 weeks (STEP 5).
